  May a JW mail carrier deliver mail to a church?

  we've already discussed the 3-15-06 wt about a self-employed contractor not being able to paint one of the churches of christendom.

  well read on.

  paragraph 13 asks, "what about performing a legitimate service, such as delivering mail everywhere in a community, including places that promote wrong practices?

  I used to service a photocopier for both the dubs (who incidently wanted it for free!) and another church, and the articles that sometimes came up did bother me a tad, and yet deep down I personally didnt see anything wrong in it, again they took Jesus kindly yoke and weighed it down with their constant attempts to set our christian consciences for us!

  i was raised a jehovah's witness by my parents who became jw's in the late '70s from field service.

  i'm still a jw but doing a lot of researching on the history of the wts.

  Hi and welcome to the forum as a poster!

  Its certainly good that you can discuss things openly like this! I would say that should the elders hear about this it would be considered apostate, not saying this from the view point to scare anyone, but are Witnesses really alowed to openly discuss and disagree with the FDS? Although it is your own Christian conscience, from the Society's point of view they should control it. So are they really so good and innocent and truthful when they could well disfellowship someone for checking out their faith for themselves? Is it still the truth when your forced to conform to doctrine that is fallible and changable as you have found out? This is a sinister side to the WTS, to disagree with them could mean shunning by everyone you know in it, thats certainly something I would think about and maybe tactfully approach your parents with?

  How often do you bathe?

  i heard something and i would like to know the truth so i'll ask this question..... how often do you bathe and change your underwear?.

  i heard that people from certain places don't bathe for days and only change their underwear when it gets really deteriorated.. .

  I shower everyday, occasional baths, new underware and shirt everyday. Some times at a weekend i'll not bother if i want to slob around that day (not seeing anyone though!)

  i just got off the phone with a customer from great britain....his accent was sooooo lovely!

  i'm trying my darndest not to melt out of my chair right now..... i swear...a british man could tell me he was going to clean the toilet and it would be hoooottt!!!!.

  That was a most amazing thing to see, I would have been too freaked out to have had the balls to be that calm and ask them questions and so on. You done good to have captured this and to see them lose the comfort of the cocoon they are in. When all is said and done they cant handle questions outside of the realms of WT rules, I bet as soon as they went on their way they decided you had an independant spirit for challenging gods representatives and assured themselves they did the right thing.
